30 Days of Thanks - Day 9 - Cinematic Wonderment

I really like movies.  A lot.  But, not in the sense that I'm going to the theater like every weekend to check out the newest movies... I tend to watch the same movies over and over and over and over and over again.  Because I love them.  Because they're my favorite.  Because I'm a creature of habit.  And, I'm not partial to any particular genre... I love them all.  Classics, animated, comedy, drama, romantic, young adult, etc.

Well, let me be totally honest here.  I'm not a fan of ALL genres.  There are a few that I hold a particular deep-rooted hatred for.  And I don't even have a valid reason.  Please, don't ever ask me to watch anything having to do with comic book characters.  Like, ever.  No interest, no desire.  I just won't do it.

Being that I'm a completely random individual with a unique compilation of character qualities that include a really sick sense of humor, a need to cry, a love for laughter, and an unnatural fondness for all things "tween," the following are some of the most wonderful cinematic creations ever made (in my humble little opinion) and I'm thankful for the creators of the "masterpieces."  I believe it was fate.  One day, they knew that a young girl would be born in the cold, Midwestern state of Ohio and would grow up to have a need and obsession for all things crazy.

In no particular order:

"Oh, you can milk anything with nipples..."

"Mother?  Not mother?"

"I'll be at the bar, putting out the vibe..."

"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!"

Never. Say. Die.

"Put your hands in the air!"

"Stop trying to make 'fetch' happen.  It's not going to happen."

My Fair Lady

"Tommy likey... Tommy want wingy..."

Cry my eyeballs out.  Every time.  The UGLY cry.
